Hubby just asked why the Mayor of LA was giving this press conference...good question. I suppose since LAX is in his 'territory' but I bet there was a struggle for who got to give the press conference. The governor deployed the National Guard to LAX...good for him. I doubt my governor will do anything like that. Wouldn't want to look too threatening or anything. Sheesh.

Chicago's mayor is now giving a press conference. Lots of face time for mayors today. Not sure why they all need to go out and speak but whatever.

Dennis Praeger was interviewing a spokesman from Homeland Security. I loved his question about not allowing any liquid substance of any kind...except baby formula...so what stops a terrorist from using baby formula? HA! And Dennis thinks we'll end up flying naked pretty soon. I shudder at the thought.
