Why Bother?

Why did I start this blog? I'm sure that question will pop into my head more often than not as I try to make sense of this crazy world. I long ago stopped writing in my journal. I never had time nor energy to keep it up. And my hand always got tired when I wrote...my thoughts come much faster than my handwriting allowed. I'm a much faster typist. And this is cheaper than therapy.

Mostly, I generally have an opinion about everything and anything. Sometimes I just yell at my radio...but then other drivers just think I'm a nutter (or my coworkers get mad). Perhaps this way I can share some of my nuttiness and of course stop yelling at my radio in the car (and maybe save my job).

A little about me...in case anyone cares...I'm in my upper 20s, went through 12 years of public school and 6 years of secondary education (who says a 4 year degree has to take 4 years?). I finally earned my Bachelors in Political Science and Business Administration in 2002...or was it 2003. Time flies. I worked full time through school, which is why it took me a tad longer than the four years typical of 4 year degrees.

I'm married to a wonderful man. I used to lean toward liberalism and feminism and still find myself with some of those thoughts when hubby wants ME to cook dinner (how dare he?!) but I try to ignore those. I'm probably too opinionated for my family but that's what my family is known for. Arguing is a sport at family functions. But we're also a little too emotional and so fights occur more often than is healthy.

I work full time in the corporate world and run my own small business in my "spare" time. And just because I was able to breath during those few extra seconds I found each day I decided to start this blog.

So we'll see where this leads. But rest assured I will never blog in my pajamas!
